Will my iPhone X clip or lenses work with iPhone XS, XS Max or XR?

Due to technical variation between devices, the iPhone X clip will not fit the new iPhone XS, XS Max or XR. Solutions for those devices are available HERE, and all Connect X lenses are compatible.

Can I use my olloclip Telephoto lens with iPhone's Telephoto camera?

The olloclip Telephoto 2X Lens available for iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone 7 Plus will work over the Telephoto camera on the respective iPhone. Follow these two easy steps.

1. Place your olloclip Telephoto 2X Lens over the iPhone’s built-in Telephoto camera. 

2. Open the camera app on your iPhone and at the bottom of the screen, select “Portrait Mode.”

Note: If the olloclip Telephoto lens is placed over the iPhone’s camera but you have selected the default, “Photo Mode” or any other camera mode, your iPhone will have a black screen. Select “Portrait Mode” and enjoy!

You must have an olloclip Telephoto Lens and clip compatible with your device.

Will my iPhone 8/7 lenses work with iPhone X, XS, XS Max or XR?

The lens mount for iPhone 8/7 is not compatible with our iPhone X, XS, XS Max or XR clips. We can convert your iPhone 8/7 lenses to be compatible for $20 per lens plus the cost of the new clip. Contact us to learn how.

Can I use a screen protector with an olloclip lens?

Our newest designs (iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, X and Multi-Device) are screen protector compatible. Previous generation iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch olloclip lens systems were designed to be used without a screen protector. While some thin screen protectors may work, we cannot recommend any specific brands or guarantee compatibility.

Can I use the flash on my device with an olloclip lens?

olloclip lenses take amazing pictures with available light. Our lenses are not designed to work with a mobile device’s built-in flash. If you would like to use your on-board flash, remember to first remove your olloclip lens.

Is my case compatible with an olloclip lens?

Phone specific olloclip clips (iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, X, 8/7, 8/7 Plus, SE) were designed to work with a naked, caseless mobile device. Our Multi-Device Clip is compatible with most thin cases. We’ve also designed Slim Case to allow you to instantly clip on an olloclip lens without removing your case.

How can I return or exchange an order?

You may return or exchange an item within 14 days. Please include the original packing slip and packaging if available. We strongly recommend using a shipping method with tracking.

Returns and exchanges are typically processed within 3-4 business days of receipt. Please allow several business days for credits to be posted to your account. You will receive an email once your return or exchange has been processed.
